La Forma Bonita

Have you ever noticed how so many of these extremely beautiful places have almost exactly the same shape? More specifically a narrow tapering tower that peaks with a rounded summit. There is something about this magical shape that appeals universally to our aesthetic sense somewhere deep within us.
